Question: Just saw “Hell’s Kitchen” for the first time ten min. ago and have to ask, is Gordon Ramsay on coke or what?
His behavior seems TOTALLY coke-exagerrated and amped up. It’s just TOO wild. No normal person acts like that (unless they have bipolar I disorder).

Question: Is it just me, or are the “Top Chef” chefs this season of lesser skill?
It seems like they are on a whole other talent level than other seasons.

I think you’re right and it’s not as interesting as before. I still “must watch” but some thing’s missing. I thought Hung would be more controversial and have the attitude of a Marcel.
Question: Do I have reason to be mad at my parents or do I just sound spoiled to you?
Please bear with my rant. Please. I really have no-one to talk to at the moment.
Yesterday was my orientation at the university I will be going to next year. Not the university of my choice, but what my parents forced me indirectly to go to. My entire extended family kept pushing me and pushing me and pushing me to go there. I did and at the orientation I saw everything I hated about this place. It’s all spoiled snobs. I went to a school like that, again, because of my parents from 12 to 15 and I woke up at 5:00 am (mind you, not easy for a 12 year old) and had to travel all over the city to get there. Why? Because my parents thought I had to go to the best fu-cking school in the country so that they could brag about me. They picked my instrument (the piano), which I temporarily grew to like, but now I hate because I don’t connect with it at all. It was automatically assumed that I’m going to university, so when I said I wanted to become a chef, they laughed. Not even an option.
The reasoning was that “Since your mom is having chemotherapy, you should stay close for now. Don’t upset her. Just say you’re gonna go to this school.” Now, I’m stuck in the same shithole I was stuck in when I was 12-15. The school is full of snobs that I do NOT connect with. I don’t want to go to a place where everyone is talking 24/7 about Mommy and Daddy’s new birthday present, a trip to fucking Paris. I had rather be with hippie, down to Earth people.
I’m TERRIFIED of going to this school. My mom pretends to give me a choice, but as soon as I told her I’ll be going there, she kept asking me eagerly if I cancelled my offer to the one I actually wanted to go to. My mom’s chemo is going to be over in a few months. Why the f-uck do I have to do four years at a school I absolutely hate because of her? Trust me, I LOVE my parents and appreciate GREATLY everything they did for me. It’s just that this is a life decision for me and it sounds like chemo is only an excuse they’re using to keep me here. I religiously took care of my mother during her treatment. It’s time I have some independence and freedom.
My mom is also HIGHLY homophobic and I’m gay. They treat me like a child or a guinnea pig. She thinks if she keeps pushing the idea of me having a girlfriend, it will happen and I haven’t even come out to her yet. She just has a feeling it might be true. I hate how they always try to manipulate instead of just telling me the truth.

First off no your not spoiled you just listen to your parents which is a good thing
Mm but consider going there if you have no other choice.. You can transfer out after a semester or a year very easily to the university of your choice so I mean your not spending a whole 4 years there.
Trust me 1 year goes by SO FAST you have no idea . It`’ll be a breeze
If you do end up going to the school take classes of your interest so your not wasting time. You will definitely find it to be a learning experience anyways !
and just be easy on your mom . shes probably going through a whole lot. Chemo`s a huge thing.
hope that helps and good luck !
Question: Why don’t we just create “Luxury Public Schools” that could help offset taxpayer dollars?
Here’s how it works. School districts around the country will be given startup money to create Luxury Public Schools. It will work like private schools in that parents will be required to pay the amount to go to the luxury schools, and this extra money made in profits, will go to help pay the costs of regular public schools. They may even make a profit.
The Luxury Public Schools can have have manicured lawns, pristine buildings, and 5-star restaurant with an in-school chef, you know things of that nature. It can cost $ 20,000-$ 28,000 a year that all prospective students and parents must pay.
The money for this helps maintain the luxury public school, but it also means that there will be money left over can go to pay for regular public schools, and it’s a win-win situation for both. It’s a perfect way to get people with money to pay up the extra money that goes to help public schools, and that is money that would not have been attained otherwise.
Do you think we should create Luxury Public Schools?
Well, eventually, the startup money would be payed off. $ 25,000 a year per student is a lot of money made in a year, it would be payed off quickly

I already here the cries of racism and class warfare. ” Why can’t my kid go to these schools?” Just cause we’re poor you are denying our right to the best education there is.”
