Question: Since it is obvious that the “Top Chef” show this season is a joke…?
What show is the best culinary show on TV? Top Chef has three chefs of which one “Lisa” is nothing more than a ratings whore. She has consistently produced poor product. She cant cook rice or shrimp….how does the show maintain credibility by taking Antonia out of the contest when her overall body of work demolished this other “personality”?….My opinion is the show is better without the rigged persona’s and would maintain more credibility with true chefs and not just people with spiteful agendas. What do you think?

The judges aren’t there to critique the entire body of work. In fact, the guest judges don’t even know what the contestants have done previously — all they know is what they’re tasting that night. So people with a great record can and do get sent home because of one lousy day, and that doesn’t make it rigged. That’s just how the show is set up.
Question: Is the show “Hell’s Kitchen” an accurate representation of a real high end restaurant kitchen?
I kind of meant with all the screaming and running around frantically…but, yes the food too.

um… sort of. they have very classic dishes but they dont go above and betond so no i dont think it is. and people only eat there to be on tv or to see the chefs, not for food.

From the footage that Bravo TV chose to broadcast during the “Top Chef” series, I absolutely believe Howard deserved to win. I would rather work for/with Howard a hundred times over before the next runner up. Howard never used intimidation, denegration or haughtiness as a tactic, unlike many of the other contestants. Howard was honest, talented, driven and best of all, HUMBLE! These qualities translate into a leader who is pleased to answer a server’s question about a dish without the huff-and-puff-roll-the-eyes response of the Prima Donna.

Does anyone know the food items that are on the actual menu of the US version tv show Hell’s Kitchen? I’ve always wanted to try out some of the dishes.
